Math 115

Statistics
Descriptive methods of collecting, organizing, analyzing, and presenting categorical and numerical data. Elementary probability theory, estimation, and hypothesis testing. This course is transferable to four-year colleges.
 

Prerequisites: MAT-083 - Introductory Algebra I, MAT-087 - Algebra I or placement of MAT-091 - Introductory Algebra II or higher (minimum grade C-).

Corequisites: NONE

Grading
Textbook

The final grade will be based 20% on the Homework Assignments, 60% on the Test average and 20% on the final project.  Any exam not taken will be counted as a 0. If you will miss a test, you must contact your instructor before the scheduled test time to schedule a make-up.
